Meditative Breathwork classes are an invitation to slow down, temporarily turn down the noise of the outside world and tune within to relieve stress and listen to the messages of your heart. They begin with a gentle introduction and check-in, followed by a guided centering meditation with music and close with tea, oracle cards and reflection.

Meditative breathwork helps those with busy minds gently and effectively bring attention to their breath and sensations and away from their thoughts. Music and words provide an anchor to return to when thoughts get in the way. Like anything, learning to return to the breath gets easier with practice.

Learning the process of meditation takes an initial time investment, but after learning the basics it is possible to quiet your mind and be more present in just a few minutes a day. All it takes is practice. Regardless of how much time you invest, the more you put, into it, the more you get out of it.

Technically, I offer meditation in a group format only. In my 60-75 minute individual breathwork and somatic experiencing sessions, I will often customize meditation recordings for clients to listen to as part of a personal practice. Working with me individually means the session is tailored to your unique needs, so if meditation is what you wish work on we can do that too.
Meditation Philosophy
I offer in person meditation which I have coined Meditative Breathwork. It is a gentle practice through which I guide a group through words and music to connect with their own breath and the sensations in the body, quieting the mind and anchoring into the present moment. Learning how to resource by tapping into the present moment is one of the most powerful ways I have found to regulate my own nervous system and those of others. It has lead to a happier, healthier, more authentic and grounded lifestyle for myself and those that have devoted themselves to the practice.
MY JOURNEY
I have been meditating for over a decade after first learning Transcendental Meditation, and then branching out into other meditative techniques with a variety of teachers. For the past 4 years, I have immersed myself in my own breathwork practice with my mentor, Madeline Giles and have fine-tuned my meditation practice and become a certified breathwork facilitator as well.
In 2022 I began offering Meditative Breathwork to a group of women out of my home studio in Kent, CT and since then, have had the gift of sharing it in person with dozens of women in my community. Seasoned meditators as well as those who never thought they would have the patience to sit and meditate have been able to find stillness and peace within themselves through this process, become devotees to this type of breathing and self attunement in community, and deepen their relationships with themselves and each other.
It is my honor, pleasure and privilege to bring this gift to my community.
